Netgear N750 Router Review
So I just upgraded from the Netgear N600 Gigabit Router (WNDR3700) to the NETGEAR N750 Gigabit Router (WNDR4000). I mostly did this upgrade to stay current with the technology and because I had an opportunity to unload the older model. So far I have noticed quite a difference in my overall wireless signal and LAN speeds. The other feature that I love on the newer routers is the Guest Network. Obviously you can get cheaper routers that offer this feature but if you don’t have this feature on your router, you should get it. It enables you to lock people out of your home network and just give them access to the internet. Most people that would ever try and use your internet would be people you would trust, however there are people that you just aren’t sure about. This feature is perfect for that. The N750 also gives you the ability to give them access to your home network with the check of a box in the router settings. Best of both worlds.
Netgear’s take on their product. The N750 offers outstanding speed and performance for homes and small offices with high network demands. With simultaneous dual band technology that enables dual wireless access on both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands, you can achieve top speeds with superior range and minimal wireless interference. The WNDR4000 router offers up to 450 Mbps of wireless speed, and also has gigabit Ethernet ports for ultra-fast wired connections.
